AZSTARYS Now Available: Stimulant ADHD Medication Launched by Corium, Inc.
July 22, 2021The new stimulant ADHD medication AZSTARYS is now available for the treatment of ADHD symptoms in patients aged 6 years and older. A once-daily methylphenidate in capsule form, AZSTARYS comprises 70% extended-release serdexmethylphenidate and dexmethylphenidate with 30% immediate-release dexmethylphenidate.AZSTARYS was approved by the FDA earlier this year, following a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, phase 3 study of 150 children aged 6 to 12 years who had been diagnosed with ADHD.
