There has been a lot of talk about privilege in the last few years, and with good reason. People with various forms of privilege have advantages over others, and it is important to discuss because discussion can lead to opening minds and hearts, and eventually to ideas and solutions.
It always starts with raising awareness about a particular topic so the public starts learning about it. I would like to shine a light on another kind of privilege that isn’t talked about a lot: the advantage of being healthy.
