If I could count the number of doctors I have seen, I would be a rich man. My BPD caused me to attach to the doctor I have been seeing and although she made mistake after mistake, she was kind and gentle and genuinely cared about me.

In June last year, I had a shock diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease by a specialist in the field brought on by the years of psychiatric medication I had been on.

Life got very tough, very quickly. I started to go downhill quite fast and every time I would see my neurologist, he would increase one of the meds I was on and I would just get worse and worse, to the point where I struggled to walk or drink anything without spilling it everywhere.
