Over the last year, I’ve learned the importance of telling my story, as it is the only way someone else can begin to understand what it is like to live with both cerebral palsy and mental illness.
Knowing March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, I want to highlight how everyday experiences are different for me due to my cerebral palsy.
Because at one point or another in life, everyone experiences anxiety, I will focus on how my anxiety response differs from that of a “typical” person for this article.
