An obituary making its way around Twitter didn’t hold back on who was to blame for one Texas man’s COVID-19 death — including President Donald Trump, Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the “selfish” people who believed their right not to wear a mask was more important than the lives of others.
David Nagy, a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died from COVID-19 on July 22 at age 79. He was treated at the ICU at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview where he was separated from his family because of the contagious nature of the novel coronavirus.
Following his death, his wife, Stacey Nagy, wrote his obituary, which was published in the Texas newspaper Jefferson Jimplecute.
